1.First of all, it has been well established that we are no longer holding a bake sale. (I want to clarify this so that nobody brings food on the day. Although I'm sure we could find someone to eat it )
2. Since we are going to be using sheets (preferably black but other gruesome/zombyish looking colors will work) for the walls of the maze, we need to dig in our closets and see if we have old sheets that can be used. If you don't have any to donate, there are plenty of consignment and resale shops around. If you go to any of these places, please look around to see what they have. We will need a lot of sheets.
3. The "roof" of the maze will be made from silver spray painted cardboard. This is the easiest way to make the roof because fabric for the roof would complicate things more.
4. Next Wednesday, Oct. 19th is the poster day. We are not going to meet at Blair's house. Instead, we will meet in M210 at the college. If you would like to help shop for poster supplies and maze decorations, Hayley and I will be meeting at the college at 2:30 on Wednesday, Oct. 19th to do this. Please let us know ASAP as whether you will be able to make it. As soon as we get done shopping, we will go back to the college to work on posters.
*******************Please look up/research facts about pollution, names and info about endangered and extinct animals, and anything else that can relate to our booth. We will put this information on "tombstones" around the maze and we will also have posters on the entry table with information. We will need this info on the poster day. If you can't make it, email us info please.
If you have suggestions for art supplies/decorations to buy, please share. As of now, all that we are going to buy for art supplies is poster board.
4. To save money on lighting, we have decided to use Christmas lights to illuminate the maze. If you have any type of Christmas lights, please bring them to the meeting at Dr. Dry's house. We decided to change the time for the October 24th meeting to 5:00 p.m.
